We boys didn't have our skype conference call until Thursday. Oreste expressed a strong desire for face-to-face meetings.
ReplyDeleteThis Weeks's No-Reading Rule:
* Dave: avoided all video games including his usual facebook games. Tried to read less incidental stuff.
* Oreste: avoided music (usually has it playing pretty constantly). ate breakfast in a different place each day. only went to his computer when there was something specific to be done.
* Scott: had an out-of-town guest, so it was pretty easy to avoid reading. may possibly try it again?
Artist's Dates:
* Scott: online looking for ideas about stone coffee tables.
* Oreste: found a new coffee house down by the waterfront -- even though it's farther away than the nearby starbucks, it seems better.
* Dave: took himself to used book & music stores in berkeley, got a lot of cool stuff. felt like a "real" artist's date, finally.
Morning Pages:
* Oreste: continued to use the time to work exercises -- feels productive.
* Scott: lots of make-up times? didn't really work on his story so much, felt bad about that. but did the writing.
* Dave: much more consistent this week, in terms of volume and doing them in the morning.
